Hey all!
What a great way to link two Powerhouses! Video Maker & Amateur Video Editing
We at A.V.E. are getting ready to launch our new site (click the link above) and decided that we should start a little blog over here as well. Our website is to continue to assist you in your Video Editing skills, just like VideoMaker. I love this site and find so many useful tools, articles, reviews, etc….
For those of you that don’t know A.V.E, we are a group of editors looking to help others from the beginner to the professional. We are a stew of people helping each other out and getting the word out on video editing.
Since I have been real busy getting the site together, I haven’t had much time to do anything else. I will continue to post our progress and thoughts here.
In the meantime, you can always post your questions at our Yahoo Group:

Dear friends,
I need a help. I have lost my instruction book for my new Camcoder Canon XH A1 and I do not know how to capture the recorded type in my computer using Adobe Premier. Can you tell me which options I need to use? With appreciation

What version of Adobe Premier you have?
Hope you find the way to upload your work. I use Vegas most of the time and no problem whatsoever..

Alexi:
I would first go to the canon website and see if there is a downloadable instruction book. You will probably need it for more than capturing.
In the mean time…
Do you have a firewire connection (1394)? If so, start the program, take the camera (make sure its off) and connect it to the firewire and take the other side & plug it into the computer. Turn the camera on.
In Adobe go to the “Capture” section and you should now see your camera listed. Hit capture and you should see the program activate the camera and begin capturing.
Now while this is a simplistic rundown of what to do, you may need to make an adjustment on your camera first. Just make sure you DO NOT plug your camera into the computer while its ON
