Summary and Other Disk freeware

In summary, Totally Free Burner is the only disk program I’ve had success with at all. I’ve tested some programs that I didn’t make chapters for because they totally failed to make the cut at all. I haven’t used DVDStyler and DVD Flick for real life projects, so I don’t know so much about how well they work. I picked DVDStyler over DVD Flick because it works on more platforms and is more flexible when making menus.

But there’s more programs I didn’t give reviews:

ImgBurn - I used this a little bit, but it doesn’t work for me. To use, you must convert your media files to ISO image files. I don’t like this process. http://www.imgburn.com/

DVD Shrink - For making backup copies of DVDs. It’s recommended that you use with a main DVD burning program. http://www.dvdshrink.org

Burrrn - Only burns audio CDs. http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4

VCD Menu Lite - For making DVD or VCD menus. This would be a good tool to use along with DVD Flick to make good menus. http://www.briggsoft.com/vmlite.htm

DVDx - For backing up DVDs to (S)VCD, DivX or Windows Media files. http://www.labdv.com/dvdx/
