Help! I’m stumped for an Idea!

So if I post a video on youtube is it possiblr for someone to download my video and miss us it? I’ve tried to capture my videos off of youtube but was not successful but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

Getting back to my original post. Having a story to tell and using a story board are both very good ideas but my more basic problem is that I can’t even think of a story to tell? I think once I have the story idea I can create the video. Heck I have about 100 dv tapes that were taken at various location around the country and overseas but I just can’t see how I could put any of that together to make a any kind of video that would be of interest to anyone but me. Shoot, I don’t even think it would be of interest to my wife and she was there with me when I took it.

Guess I’m just not very creative. Must be some place to find movie ideas!

I’ll bet this my tenth attempt at writing a blog. Deep down I have this urge to write a blog or make a video but each time I try this, I start out with a bang and then run out of ideas. Take my videos for instance. I subscribe to the Video Maker magazine in hopes of improving my video making but when it comes right down to it, you need to make a video to improve and my problem is I can’t think of anything that I can make a video of that would be of interest to anybody including myself.

I guess I’m just easily distracted. Some time ago I started to write out a script for a “How to” video. The idea was I would use my daughter to demonstrate how to make a Pine Cone Christmas decoration using ribbon and a Styrofoam egg. About half way into the project, I lost interest and convinced myself it wouldn’t be worth doing. So how does one; a) come up with ideas for a video, b) maintain interest in the project and c)what do you do with it after it is done?
