Hello From Tokyo!
My name is “Rob Pongi” and I am, in fact, one of the web’s original video bloggers from back in the summer of 2000. We used to post our little tiny Quicktime clips up on singlereel.com and the now-defunct radicalzoo.com. And, then later on, when those sites became too slow, we soon started up the great TokyoDV and below is a link to an archived front page from those very early days of 2001:
And, as you can see we had FOUR (4) complete Quicktime clips running right on the front page! Were we there yet?! Well, of course, that is nothing compared to these days, but back then, those four little videos, were, in fact, four more than the majority of all other individual sites on the web at that time.
Well, times have certainly changed, indeed. And now, I present to you my own very unique, wild, wacky, fun, funny, crazy, weird, stupid, crazy and very popular video website:
