My Editing Program

Filed under: Video eventsVictor Rodriguez July 21, 2008 @ 9:54 pm

I have read the several comments about pinnacle studio video editing software and I don’t agree at all with them.

I know it’s not perfect, but none of them is. I have used Magix latest trial software and it is very good, but it is very automatic and with less options to experiment.

I have done some projects in studio with the green screen feature and they came up perfectly good. Also I liked the sparkles  that I can add to titles and images with the plug in vitascene from pro-dad, included in version 11 ultimate.

I think studio is the closest to a professional video editing program. I agree that it is slow, but only when you go hard on effects, and it is problably the same with any other one.

I know there is a new version available (12) and as soon as I have some cash, I’ll upgrade to it.

Upgraded news: When I started using version 12, I thought it was the greatest version Pinnacle could do, but as soon I started using version 14, that idea was destroyed. Version 14 is the closest to a perfect video editing software that I had come to. Toon it is really great. I always wanted to convert video to cartoon. And the new way to make titles is excellent.

There is only one thing that I’m still missing, and is more video tracks, besides that, I’m glad I made the upgrade to the newest version.

Hello world!
