For some strange reason, when the videos are viewed on PCs, the sound doesn't play out of the PC Speaker. It only plays when you connect headphones or external speakers to the headphone jack. I can't figure out why. One thing I've noticed is that when I change the audio panning in FCP to '0,' I get no sound at all. I shoot live rock shows, so low-light performance is very important. Currently we shoot with SD camcorders, which is fine since 90% of what we produce is for online distribution only. So, the other day i was making a quick video for my sister (REALLY QUICK! I made it in 40 minutes or so...) on After Effects, and i was working in 3D. Well, the values for my X,Y, and Z axis were huge, about 7 thousand and something... So my question is if  those values normal or am i controlling the camera in a wrong way? I think someone out there must have figured out this work flow better than I. Because you have to do the source channel mapping before the clips are used in the timeline, I have to put them in the timeline, sync them, export the audio, import the audio, do the source channel mapping, add each channel of the 5.1 then drop the clips into the timeline. Seems kinda like a work around to me. Does anyone know a better way of doing this.
