I would like to put my videos online which are mostly from network and cable television so that potential clients can view my work. However, because of the legalities of SAG contracts, release forms and the distributors...etc., I've been told that they cannot be public videos.

Does anyone have any suggestions for video hosting which would make all the videos password protected? In other words, a client would have need a password in order to see the videos.

Watch the Gannin Arnold performance LIVE here on Drum Channel at 8:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, March 2nd.

Gannin Arnold is a 3 piece band (Guitar/bass/drums). Aside from Touring and being in-demand as a studio musician, writer and producer on projects ranging from Artists CDs to Film & Television, Gannin
Arnold has recently finished his first solo CD "Not From Here". This CD will feature musicians Jimmy Chamberlin, Taylor Hawkins, Stephen Perkins, Simon Phillips, Pat Matelotto, Rudy Sarzo, Tony Levin, Tim Landers and more. Gannin knew he wanted to play guitar from a young age, inspired by the metal band videos that were being shown on MTV. His first teacher, Adam St. James, introduced him to the music of guitarists who would have a lasting impact on his own playing, including Jeff Beck, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Allan Holdworth, Brian May, Larry Carlton, Frank Zappa and more. Gannin is an in-demand studio musician, writer and producer and has recorded and toured with Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, Jeff Berlin, George Duke, K'Naan and more.

Taylor Hawkins may be best known from his playing in Foo Fighters but in addition to his drumming duties, Hawkins is also an accomplished rock singer, guitarist and pianist and took over lead vocals for Foo Fighters on "Cold Day in the Sun", a song on the acoustic half of the double album "In Your Honor" which was later released as a single, and "I Feel Free," which appeared as the B-side of "DOA" and the EP of Five Songs and a Cover. Live, he occasionally provides backing vocals and, at times, lead vocals while Dave Grohl plays drums. Hawkins has said that his drumming has been influenced by Roger Taylor of Queen and Stewart Copeland of the Police. He was voted "Best Rock Drummer" in 2005 by UK drumming magazine, Rhythm. Taylor Hawkins' recordings include: drum tracks for the Coheed and Cambria album "Good Appollo", "I'm Burning Star IV" and "Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow" and most recently complete the recording of by the late Beach Boys' drummer Dennis Wilson entitled "Holy Man" by writing and singing new lyrics along with Jackson United's latest album "Harmony & Dissidence".

I've been using Pinnacle Studio video editing software for quite some time now, but I've never had to upload a video that I've created with the software to Youtube...until now.

I've tried several different codecs, messed with audio data rate/codecs...and the video is only about 1 minute and 12 seconds long.

Every time I try to upload the same video of a different codec, Youtube tells me there is an error.

Any help/suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking to create an Internet TV Channel for a customer. We are producing all the video material and plan to enconde new and existing videos to FLV and H.264. Today I received an E-Mail offering the "Simple Web TV" hosted software http://www.simple-webtv.com for creating video portals and WebTVs. Does anybody know anything about it?

Thanks.

I video a weekly program in the retirement community where I live. The programs are over an hour in length. After minimal editing in Premier Elements 7, I make a flash file (highest quality) and post it on our website. We host the videos on Hostmonster (unlimited bandwith and size) We are getting progressive video, which can be jerky and stop and go, depending on the viewers broadband and computer speeds. I have heard about streaming video, which adjusts the video feed to the users capacity. Anyone know what this is, and how to go about using it?

Hi

I am thinking about making a local News studio in my town, right now it will be just me and one friend. I am going to be the host and my friend is going to shoot outside. I want local business to suport this project wich means that I will be charging money to place an ad at the starting point of a each clip. My question is ... if i want to show some international news like... mm.. something about China for example, can I use footage from other tv station like ABC placing some type of text on the footage? I seen that many times but I don't know how that work's. I hope some body can help

Thank you
