&#60;p&#62;On my camera (vx2000) I have a switch to record to miniDV tape or to memory stick.  Your camera might have a similar switch?  On mine there is a little thing to block recording to memory stick (to make it easier to just flip the switch to the tape position), so maybe your camera has this also?&#60;/p&#62;</description>

<description>&#60;p&#62;I have recently bought myself the Sony HVR-HD1000U video camera. My plan was to use a memory stick instead of tapes. So I order a SanDisk Video HD Memory Stick PRO Duo, however, I can only take pictures with it. It says it can hold 120 minutes worth of HD video. Is this card only capable of taking pictures? If so how can one take video from tape and put it on computer? I'm sorry if I'm not explaining the problem correctly, I'm new to these HD cameras.&#60;/p&#62;
