Use MpegStreamclip to convert the file to DV-AVIÂ and then use the AVI file in Premiere.

The program is free and works very well.

So whenever i edit in 6.5 which is the only advanced program i have for editing. I encounter a problem when i try to edit mpegs that were shot on a point and shoot camera.

The problem is it throws everything out of whack, audio and video. My guess is because since it was shot on a point and shoot camera. The normal settings(standard 48Khz) arent the right frame rate for it.

Would anyone know how i can get around it? Programs like movie maker works with them. The files im trying to edit are MPg.

Thanks for your time. If you could help i would be grateful.

B.
