<description>&#60;p&#62;.MOD is simply the extensions for the filesÂ that your camcorder records, which is MPEG-2 (the basic encoding of DVDs). If your editing software supports the MPEG-2 format, you can import the files as usual.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If your editor has MPEG-2 support but doesn't recognize the MOD extension, you can copy the files and change the extensions to .mpg or .mov.&#60;/p&#62;
