avi sound problem

   I am haveing a very odd problem with my avis when i import them. they play fine when i use win media player or real player to play the avi and the audio imports with the video when i use premiere pro 1.5 but the audio does not import with the video when i use premiere pro cs3 can anyone explain why i am haveing this bizzar problem

   Maybe there is a checkbox you are supposed to check. It could be on the Import window or in the preferences window in the Edit or File menues.
