  1.  My client wants to be able to "see" the audio waveform on the program.  In other words, I need to figure out how to capture the audio waveform as a video file or something.  Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

  2.  I don't think there is a way to export the waveform, although, I could be wrong. Im more of an FCP guy.

You could try viewing the waveform in Avid and then making a screenshot. If you're using a Mac, the keyboard command is Apple + Shift + 4. The cursor becomes a cross-hair and you can select the part of the screen you want to capture.
