Choppy video

    hope that someone can help me out...

   I have a Samsung SC-HMX10C NTSC HD Video Camera.  When I attempt to edit my videos using the Cyberlink DVD Suite v5 for HD kit, the video is shown as choppy, speeded up, and / or slowed down.  Can anyone inform me of what I may be doing worng???

   Any info will be greatly appreciated!
