Connect Laptop to Television

   I would like some advise on how to show my picturer on my laptop on my television,  I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 with a 15 pin monitor connector and 3 SUB connectors. The cable that I bought only produces a very distorted picture.  Of course, I would like to do this at low cost.

    umm....does your laptop have s-video? i think that would work if your TV did too.

    if your tv is hi def go with the apple tv.
