I have made a series of videos using iMovie. These videos are for my subscription website. The site is to launch in August (www.YourMoneyHouse.com).
The problem is this: my web developer (www.MissionEcommerce.com) needs the videos in .flv format. It seems that iMovie does not export to .flv.
Without using YouTube (I have a custom video player on my site), how do I convert movies made in iMovie to FLV for streaming on my website?
I have googled this for HOURS and not found an answer. The closes clue I can find is that Apple ended it's relationship with Adobe to support FLV in iMovie. I have also tried using QT Pro, but it does not export to FLV either. I'm not sure about the "free" programs that claim to convert .m4v to flv...one such free software, http://www.visualhub.com is out of business now. I need to depend on some professional software here, not fly-by-night shareware!
Apple are MEDIA MACHINES. How can it be that I can't convert to the most popular web video format using my Apple? At this point I want to punch Steve Jobs in the face! Can someone please help me learn the best way to get a video into FLV that was made in iMovie?
