I am a newcomer to camcorders. I am managing to copy my videos on to DVD via PC but the scenes all come up separately and are not continuous. I am also not having much luck in editing. Any advice would be welcome.

Many editing programs have an option to create their own scenes or allow you to capture as one continuous clip to your computer. I am unsure if working with DVD the scenes are already created on their own each time you hit record/stop. I'd say take a very close look through your options and menus on both the editing program, and the camera.
When you say you're not having much luck in editing, what do you mean?

Thanks for advice MM.
Editing seems to be very long winded and time consuming. Are there any programs out there that are recommended? Or is just me getting used to using them?
