Just using an audio mixer for the first time. Sending drum machine line into channel which sounds fine with headphones plugged into mixer. Somewhere after the mixer,the audio signal becomes totally distorted. Main mix output goes into mic input of Panasonic consumer miniDV camcorder, then firewire from camera into laptop. When I listen to the audio from the laptop, it's a disaster ! What happened ???
