HDR-FX1 (used) under $1400 or HDR-FX7 new. What would you buy?

    This will be my first Prosumer Level camcorder. I am looking to learn the art to eventually complement my wife in her photography business. This camera would transition to be a second camera eventually (fixed shooter at weddings). Any guidance will be highly appreciated.  -HDDrew704

   I suppose I would have to go with the FX1.

   It's specs seem to indicate that it's technically a better camera:

   FX1 - 1/3" 3CCD at 3 lux.

   FX7 - 1/4" 3CMOS at 4 lux.

   I have the FX-1 and I like it. I have used the FX-7 a little I just have more choices with the fx1
