How do I get that look?

   Reading reviews just isnt enough. I was confident (basing my decision off of the forums and research) that I wanted to purchase the HMC-150, but actually was lucky enough to find one to trial first, and was not satisfied at all with the look of it. For all of you professionals out there, would it be possible to make a good guess at what camera is used for a specific movie (documentary)? I love the looks of "American Movie", "Spellbound", and "My Flesh and Blood". I'm a big documentary fan. Is it possible to pull of that look with HD?
