Lens Size???

   Hi

   Could anyone possibally tell me the size of the lens on a Canon Zr500?

   Its not listed on the manual and aparently Canon tech support doesnt know either. I found that out after 20 min on hold.

   I have Raynox wide angle lense that I was using for all my home camcorders. The Raynox comes with a bunch of adapter rings but none will fit the ZR500.

   the ZR500 lens measures 12mm across but I need to know what the technical size is to try to find a matching adapter.

   the camcorder does have threads so something must fit.

   I 'googled' filter size for "CANON ZR500"? and found more than two sites that say there is no option to screw a filter on that camera. here is one site. http://www.easycamcorders.com/specs/Canon--ZR500.htm
