 I am currently making a crane that I will mount my GS320 which will have a small monitor down near the fulcrum so I can see what is on screen. Since the camera is going to be ~5' away from me, I will obviously need to use a remote device to zoom and operate the menu. I was wondering if there is anyway I can dismantle the remote that came with this camera (Model # N2QAEC000021) and make a box with various controls on it, such as zoom, play, rewind, etc. An example of the type of box I am talking about can be seen in the picture included in this post.
