I'm looking for a second and third camera to be used as B-Roll and "C-Roll" in multicamera shhots. My main camera is the PD-170. I'd like to upgrade tatally to HDV, but money is a big deterent. I'd like to stay Sony and am looking to upgrade to a FX7 or HVR-A1U as my main HDV camera after I trade in my PD-170. I'd keep the two HC7's as backups, 2nd & 3rd camera, etc. Any thoughts?

I have read great reviews concerning the HC7. Planning to go HD soon, and will be buying that as a back-up camera.

I've got the A1U and I adore it. Its the perfect camera as long as your lighting is good.
