transferring video from JVC-GZ-HM200 to Mac

    OK, justbought a JVC GZ-HM 200.  Cannot figure out from the their manual how o xfr video to my Mac.

    This is a common problem many people run into with JVC hard disk camcorders. The file extension is either .mod or .tod, which is probably MPEG-2. I have a JVC Everio camcorder that records in MPEG-2 with editing software that actually supports it. MPEG-2 is the codec base of DVDs, but has not been used with camcorders for very long.
