BOXX’s New APEXX 4 6301 Workstation Harnesses Latest AMD Ryzen Tech

BOXX’s adding a new model to what they call their most versatile workstation line with the APEXX 4 6301. The new APEXX 4 6301 will be one of the first workstations equipped with AMD's new 16-core Ryzen Threadripper processor to hit the market.

Along with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X, the 6103 supports up to 128GB od system memory and up to three professional-grade AMD Radeon Pro WX Series or NVIDIA graphics cards. BOXX’s other APEXX 4 models and the APEXX 4 6201, have processors that offer 10 cores and 4 cores, respectively. BOXX says that the 6301 is AMD’s highest performing desktop platform ever and “offers significant performance increases over previous technology."

With the AMD's Ryzen technology, BOXX promises efficiency and great performance with multitasking, including tasks like rendering complex 3D scene, encoding, or powering simulation and analysis. Targeting video professionals, BOXX also promises support for power-hungry multi-threaded applications like Maya, Cinema 4D and Adobe CC applications like After Effects.
